About:
Starr’s art is driven by questions about love, brutality, greed, sex, and alienation. She’s interested in our animal aspects as humans, and how these relate to resilience and power relationships.
Born in Washington DC, Cristina lived most of her life in NYC, moving to London in 2021. She has background in Religious Studies (B.A., Brown U.), Clinical Social Work (M.S.W., New York U.), and Art (M.F.A., Goldsmiths).
